A BRIEF AUTOBIOGRAPHYIn real life, I’m predominantly an aspiring fantasy author, and art is only a secondary hobby I use to help picture the characters and worlds I create. Here on dA, though, I tend to put most of my energy into fanfiction and fanart for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, as the fandom was what inspired me to join. As a writer, I am backed by fourteen years of freewriting experience, several college writing courses, and a strong understanding of grammar. As an artist, I have taken courses as electives both in high school and in college. But in spite of my experience, I'm aware that there is always room to grow.
I tend to be somewhat of a slow updater when it comes to my stories or artwork. I’m a perfectionist by nature, so I’m very methodical with my work and will sometimes frustrate myself into a writer’s/artist’s block because I can’t get it to turn out the way I want it. However, I will try to set a minimum goal of turning out one chapter or short fic and two pieces of artwork per month to keep myself on track.
On the same note, I tend to be somewhat slow with reviewing other people’s deviations. I like to leave thoughtful commentary, especially when I can tell the author or artist put in a lot of effort, so I tend to push them back until I have the free time to give them my full attention. Please be patient to me – just because I haven’t responded to you doesn’t mean I’ve forgotten you, especially if you’re on my watch list.

I'm sure you're still working on TMRC, right? No, I'm not getting impatient, I just don't want such a good story to go to waste, before it even began. I've been making some headway on my own writing, too (after, like, FIVE WHOLE YEARS), so I'm sure you're making progress, too. I also got a job at CAI recently. Big steps there.

Hey Rhaeda I just got to ask! Are you as hyped as the rest of the gaming world for the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire? Or are you like me who can not play it due to it only being on the 3DS?

I am so excited for OmegaR/AlphaS! Hoenn was my favorite region, and I miss playing Emerald. The problem is that I can't afford new games right now. Sure, we still have five months before the games are released, but this has been my monetary situation for the last couple of years, and it still hasn't changed yet. So unless something good finally happens for me, I'll probably end up missing out on the games, too.

Which really sucks because the secret bases that they are bringing back look so super rad! You can basically make it into your own personal Gym where you can invite friends to come hang out and battle in your secret base!

I just completed Tales of the Abyss today and it was freaking AMAZING!!!!

Absolutely! The story was fantastic, and I think I go on enough extolling just how detailed the world is in this game.
I can't really pick a favorite character, because they're all so amazing. I love Luke for the same reasons as I love Riku (redemption and second chances,) Jade for his wit and just being an all around BA, Tear for her strength, Guy for being the perfect best friend... Same goes for the music--there's just too much to choose from, and it's all brilliant. My favorite city is definitely Grand Chokmah (love, love, LOVE the water effects,) and my favorite dungeon is also Tataroo Valley (simply beautiful and natural.)
