you don't seem to use a lot of rhetoric in the comic, or am I just missing it?

Ah, yeah the comic is in no way related to "rhetoric" in the academic sense. Making the website for it was my "class" assignment, though the comic was just something extra to put on there.
I've been wanting to make a web comic out of this story I've had for about a year, but had no motivation...and the class gave me some.
I just hope it turns out alright.
