Quick question, which paint type is appropriate for resin sculpts?
You had several in the background on the Justin Bailey Samus Aran version.

A lot of different artists use different types of paints. Much of it comes down to personal preference and experimentation to see what works for you as far as paint consistency, mixing, finished coats, etc. For me personally, I used a number of different paints including Createx, Ceramcoat, etc. and eventually settled on water-based acrylic paints but not all acrylic paints are equal.

Certain acrylic paints mix in different ratios and with different products. Some like to use distilled water, alcohol, or even window cleaner. Others like Createx, don't need to be mixed and can be sprayed directly from the airbrush. The best thing to do is purchase different paints, see what works for you. I like Ceramcoat paints the best because they always mixed nicely and had a nice range of colors.
