# About me

Well, in concern of my art, I started making 3D scenes in January 2009. I've always been fond of art that, when you look at it, it makes you think "How did that get there?", or "What is this for?". I like art pieces that intrigue me, and even disturb me a little! I always found a certain serenity in such pieces, and this calm, this peaceful feeling is what fueled one of my earliest pieces, Midnight Islet.
These scenes are fantasies of mine, they're places that I would like to be, and to spend my time in, pondering why they're here, and who's been here, and who made it. I like conceptual scenes that make me question them, which I want to make others do when they see my own art.

When 2012 came around, and with it, the seapunk culture, I never turned a blind eye to it - how could I? My favourite artist, Rye Rye, jumped into seapunk head-first with the music video for her hit single Boom Boom. Azealia Banks released the album Fantasea, with intriguing tracks like Neptune, and Atlantis (the video to which was also 100% seapunk). When all this was going on, I didn't know this theme had a name, but I knew it was right up my alley, and I was glad to see this sort of art gaining some kind of popularity! A while after the microculture came into being, I did find out it had a name, and so here I am, on a mission to help prove that seapunk is NOT dead, as it's been jokingly accused of being since pretty much it first was born.

I want to dedicate my art to seapunk, so others know at least someone out there knows its still fresh and real.
