I have answered this question in my most recent journal entry: On RequestsAs I've been uploading more regularly to get up to speed with my output on other social media, I've noticed an uptick in the number of unsolicited requests in my inbox.
A few of these were sent with the understanding that art is, y'know, a service you need to exchange money for. This is fine. Those aren't the notes I'm responding to here.
I'm talking about the out-of-nowhere requests for an intensely specific depiction of a character or mix of characters, often completely out of line with what I normally draw, and almost always written in a tone that presupposes I've already said yes and they're thanking me in advance. And I get the feeling these are by no means unique to me... in fact, it feels almost like a deviantART rite of passage. That being said....


If you are thinking of sending me a note asking me to draw something for you for free, or for deviantART points, save yourself the time because the answer is no.

Sure, I'm always open to suggestions! No guarantees that I'll get to them necessarily, but it never hurts to sow a few idea-seeds.

ETA: I should mention that I'm only writing for Elibe. Not familiar enough with the other sagas.

The Elibe-only thing is not a problem since the only non-Elibe suggestion I had was Ephraim-Innes from Magvel (The Sacred Stones).

Thank you for hearing me out! My suggestions are: Roy-Fae, Wolt-Lilina, Sain-Florina, and Nino-Lucius and Nino-Raven (since I've seen a popular theory that she named Lugh and Raigh after LUcius and RAven).

Ah hm, that's a good suggestion for Innes-Ephraim (and one I've heard a lot). But again, I don't really know those characters beyond "cool tactician sniper" and "impulsive lance lord," so I'll leave that set up to someone who'd do it justice.

I've actually begun work on a few of your other suggestions, so you'll definitely have something to look forward to with those.
