No need to apologize, I'm not actually that vexed by it. Even the kids say it in an endearing, acadian way that just makes me smile.

Scottish people are also pretty charming when they say... well, just about anything. I can remember being swept off my feet by a pub-singer in Edinburgh singing about a drunk man lying down with a pig.

Scottish people are awesome. My twin married a Scot in November and my boyfriend is Scottish. Their accents rock. Do you prefer Edinburgh or Glasgow? I <3 Glasgow, but love the history in Edinburgh. I love that a pub-singer sand a song about a drunk man lying down with a piggy. I love it!

It was a good song, a lady says something about being judged by the company you keep and the pig gets up and walks away with a disgusted grunt.

As to Glasgow vs. Edinburgh, I didn't actually get a chance to visit Glasgow (I'll get there next time). Is your boyfriend living in Nova Scotia now? I love the idea of new Scottish people in New Scotland.

I do hope you get to Glasgow. It's a nice city. Not overly large. It made me feel at home. Like I had never left Halifax.
Shaun isn't here yet, but he will be next Monday It's neat thinking of Scottish folk moving to New Scotland.
