Yes I have mixed emotions about the release. I really like the fact that the game is already in 3D... but I guess the Pokemon designs are not so good anymore... I don't know... :<

Yeah, I know what you mean. Recently found out that Ken Sugimori designed the first two Generations, but after that it was a group of different designers. That's probably why some Pokemon have looked odd or not as appealing as the originals.
My favorite Gen is the 2nd, I think. So far I kind of like the new starters a bit more than the Hoenn starters (just never cared for them too much for some reason

OOOOOH! I didn't know that, so that's why? I think the other generations hahaha really not so fun anymore lol. I like the 3rd generation actually but the 4th to this generation I am not fond of it anymore... I really like 3rd generation because it somehow 'opened' the other possibilities of the Pokemon world. Like Pokemon contest and cooking berries and stuff.

Oh yeah, that's true. The cooking berries and contests were a nice addition to the series. Gen 5 I liked the idea of shooting your own movies too. Pokemon Yellow was my first video game, back when I was 9; it's cool to see how the games have evolved over the years, and the new things they come up with.

yes, that's really true. My first game was Pokemon Red and I borrowed a Gameboy Color to my cousin and stupid me, xD I didn't even knew back then how to go outside of the house. I thought that red mat is only a mat lol
