Thanks for the welcome.
I didn't have anything else to post. I've got some terrible pics of me - they're much to accurate, maybe some motion blur and posterizing would help.
I really enjoyed the art and the comments I've seen here, so I signed up to join the l337Geeks. But I'm not much of an artist; I'm a hacker (Off-White Hat variety - I make hardware do things the manufacturer didn't invision, mostly making cheap devices do useful things for small bussinesses).
Pitcairn Island was settled by pirates, specifically the mutineers from The Bounty, I thought it dovetailed nicely with the hacker attitude. It has only one phone line. See: [link] for more info. These CIA guys have more time than brains and have compiled everything you ever wanted to known all kinds of stuff; some of which is available to the public. I'm actually living in Ala-fucking-bama, USA; a total shit-hole. but I hope to move to some Nordic country, like Sweden, where the people are civilized and don't randomly shoot poeple in the street on a daily basis. I've lived all over the US and have been stabbed and shot (twice); it's not as fun as it looks on TV.

I'm always amazed at how you guys can make such interesting art so small. Your avatar is great; I hope to do something similar, I made an animated gif of my company's logo that is my IE activity icon. I was wondering if you concidered removing the leg on the right side of your avatar (or adding one to the left) to make the loop look continous? Please feel free to flame me if I've missed the obvious.

Sorry for the late reply. To create the fractals I use a series of different programs. Chaoscope (easiest and has the best colors I think), Apophysis v1.1 and 2.0 (best program because you can create more complex pieces it renders better and it’s easier to modify the fractal) and I also use Ultra Fractal and Fractal Express both which I don’t really like and they want you to pay for. To make the letters use choasscope to get the basic shape of the letter then I use Adobe Photoshop 7.0(which you need to do almost any digital art) to fix it up. In the past my avatar did have I complete shield around my symbol but it turned into that. Even I still don’t know what question are correct to ask so feel free to ask anything.
