# About me
I was born in 1987, in a hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.I got my first camera at nine. A simple point and shoot film thing, I've been hooked ever since. Got my hands on my first SLR at the age of fourteen, and my first dSLR at seventeen. I still shoot film every now and then, but not as often as I used to.
A couple of years ago I decided to take a hiatus from photography and the internet. And while I got back online somewhat quickly, it took a longer time before I picked up my camera again.
I'm mostly self-taught through the reading of books, articles, guides and whathaveyou. But I did study some photography when I went to high school.
As a person I’m very calm and laid back these days, and it takes a lot to phase me. I've been told that I’m warm, generous and kind. And I agree with the fact that I am, most of the time anyway.
I love to travel(who doesn't?). But up until recently I haven’t had the time or the money required to do so. Nowadays I try to get away whenever I can, see new places and meet new people.
When I'm not playing with my camera I'm usually reading. I go through a lot of books throughout a year. Since I got myself a kindle I read ever more, it's very convenient to always have a whole bunch of books with you.
In my everyday camera bag, which rarely leaves my side, you will find:
- Camera(Nikon D7000 if it matters)
- 1-2 Lenses
- 1-3 Flashgun
- Snacks
- My Kindle
- Pens
- Gaffers Tape
- Chargers
- Filters
- Spare change
- Markers
- Notebook for random notes
- An Elephant
- Enough batteries to power a city for a year.
- Dog and cat treats

Glad to hear it! I try to just post my best stuff these days, but if you go back in the gallery you'll find a lot of old stuff as well from back when I was on this site the last time. Some of it is still good though.
