OH yeah, ha ha, its really fun seeing a bunch of ignorant assholes rip apart my art work. Thats the worst site I have ever encountered. Funny they don't talk about anything good on that site, it sound like a lot of uneduacted miserable people who hate Twilight. Not my cup of tea, but I'm glad you like my gallery.

Right...its just hard to swallow such harsh opinions, espacially when they only show the works I really screwed up on and not the good ones, ya know?

So don't swallow them! Let 'em roll off you. When you create (anything) and put it out there for anyone to look at there are always going to be people who don't like it and people who downright hate it. But in such a large audience there will also be tons of people who like it and absolutely love it. Especially when it's art about an already existing subject as popular/unpopular as Twilight. I'm in the same boat. I know darn well there are people out there who hate the subject of a large part of my gallery - and I'm sure if some of my art got posted on Regretsy (especially any of my older stuff) it would be inundated with cruel (but hilarious) comments - some at which I'd laugh and others at which I'd shrug. But I've got over 500 watchers here on DA and people who buy my stuff and commission me at conventions so I focus on them! You have sold pieces from your Etsy store right? I wouldn't be surprised if some of them came from Regretsy just by proxy. No publicity is bad publicity - golden rule of a marketplace. Millions of people visit regretsy a day and if even .01% of them like your art - you've made some new fans and possible customers! So don't sweat the petty stuff (or pet the sweaty stuff but that's a different conversation XD,) have a laugh or not, and move on :) (Smile)

Well, I'm Canadian but I live in the UK and I have family in Ireland. I go to D-con every year up in Dundee Scotland and this year I'll be at Nomcon and Eirtakon in Ireland. ^^

lol no the Sailor refers to my favourite fandom - Sailor Moon (hence all the fanart in my gallery) Although I did meet me husband while working on cruise ships so I suppose I was a bit of a sailor XD
There's some great conventions in the U.S.A. if you can travel - their great fun - I'm a bit of an addict XD
