The lines in your art seem a bit shaky and some of your perspectives are a bit odd, you should focus on trying to steady your hand as you draw. Looking at an mlp base would probably be helpful as it could be a reference picture for your character, using an mlp base is a bad idea though so just use it as a reference. You seem to be a bit lacking when it comes to backgrounds, even if the drawing is just a character's head on a plain background you can spice things up by maybe using multiple colors in a fading blur of a background or a checkered or striped background (as long as the background doesn't distract from the actual drawing). Another thing is that all your characters are facing the same direction and are standing in the same pose. Like I was saying about the mlp bases, you can use them as references to envision your pony from a viewpoint different from just side view.

No problem! Also you said you use a drawing pad, what is your computer? I want to get a drawing pad but most drawing pads need a mac or pc to operate and I have a Chromebook so I'm trying to find a drawing tablet that would work with my Chromebook (and isn't incredibly expensive)

I'm currently using a PC and the tablet i have now only costed about 69.99 which is pretty cheap for a tablet. I'm not to sure whether or not its compatible with chrome books though. Here's the URL in case you want to look into it.

howdy its your friend yakols firestar your still new to deviantart so let me tell you how things work around here if you go to the envelope in the right corner you will find 3 things watch groups and notes. notes are messages people sent to you that you can't respond to unless you make a new note and send it to them, watch is things going on in a group you have joined, and groups is where you can join a group to show your art to more then some random people or make a group of your very own. you may also get random notifications most of the time it's a comment someone made on your art. how to put art on you ask well my friend it's easy you can go to your gallery and put summit art and grab something you made on the computer or go to the submit button on the top screen on deviantart and go to the draw with da muro. you will see other things like write a journal that just writing something you want everyone to see, a print is a picture that you can sell and a motion book is just another animation app so that is most of the basics of this site if you have any more questions feel free to ask me that's all for now see ya- yakols firetstar
