I must commend your willingness to make things right and not make, as people like to say, "a Big Stink" about it.
However, I've seen your other pieces, and now that someone has shown me the original pieces, it is difficult for me to take your seriously as an artist anymore.

To me, a lot of my artwork is completely mine still. I know there are maybe a select few still that I had forgotten to give credit, but people are also picking a ton of pieces that may have a similar pose, but look nothing like the other D: People can't copyright a pose, it's just not right, especially when there's probably not a single pose out there that HASN'T been drawn, you know? I do understand ioene's piece that I heavily referenced, and I'm over that, but the other things people are going crazy about? I think they're being ridiculous.
Ah, sorry if that came off as a little argumentative, I'm just trying to support my views on this whole thing and get it over with.

If you want to become a truly great artist don't trace and copy

Nothing I have ever put on my DA page has been traced xD I use reference at times, which all artists usually do. Happy Eighteen was heavily referenced, and I didn't give credit, I admit :] My mistake. But the artist could have contacted me about this, and it isn't really your problem in the first place, doll :]

and artists should never copy like you have then show it as hard earned work.
drawing and being artistic is about analyzing, NOT copying.
when you reference, you look and Analyze what you need from it, not draw line for line.

Artists copy all the time. It's a common practice, and even the best of the best do it. They're called studies. No one would know how to draw if they didn't reference once in a while, and artists are way too pressured to be original in a world were nearly every pose and concept has been used over and over already. I just failed to credit, and I've already admitted to my mistake. So I don't know what you want out of me xD
I didn't draw line for line :] If you were to take my piece and set it right over top of Ionen's, they wouldn't match up, I guarantee. The style of art is totally different, and the similarities only lie within the pose, shading, and horns, really. But those were enough to need credit, I know, and I've admitted to it~

also just b/c it doesn't layover doesn't mean its not a copy.
you glanced at a pic, you copied the line, you made the pic...its still copied
I watched him draw that entire picture from nothing. Hours upon hours of working and reworking pose,color,and lines.
to have you come and copy then add a few things here and there then call it YOUR work just infuriates me.
Also you still have work up that has copied bits from other artists which you still have not credited.

That's how it should remain, Practice, not showing it off as if were your brainchild.
I said artists analyze. Learn from practice, analyze it, apply it to your own work, and become better.
That's how should be, not copy bits and pieces from other works and call it a masterpiece.

I'm pretty sure I have nothing else in my gallery that looks like another piece of art. I've taken down a lot of things, even stuff that was completely original to make you guys happy. Also, that background was VERY generic, so you can't pin that on me. Plain gray with some lines in it is not "thievery" of a background.
But okay, I can understand that you're mad, and I like to try and work things out. You have to remember that I've apologized, okay? :] And I've removed it for him. But also, while I did reuse that pose, draw my own pair of similar horns, and practiced a new shading style, I feel I did work hard on it, and so, while not the "brainchild" for certain bits, the work I put into my piece is still mine. So I find it a little unfair that I'm being called a thief, especially when I didn't simply copypasta or just redraw the same exact thing. But I understand I should have credited Ionen, and I again apologize, alrighty? :]
