Unfortunately, no. Shane has an NDSA meeting (North Dakota Student Association, student government sort of thing), and the only vehicle I have access to is definitely not highway-worthy. At this point, the earliest we'd be able to come down is...January.
On a more positive note, I got the new vest for my HUNK cosplay. It looks like the straps can be easily swapped for tan ones.

I finished mine in time for Anime Matsuri, and it went over very well.

I never went, unfortunately. Bad planning coupled with some rather unsavory weather conditions (potential snow storm and flooded roads) nixed that. Regardless, I am making an attempt to get to Ai-Kon up in Winnipeg. Since that's during the summer I shouldn't have to worry about flooding.
Due to having had to have paid extra on interest for my school loans, acquisition of a 1911 has been set back a bit. I might have to settle for something a bit cheaper in the meantime, but I'm hoping that I can get something this summer.

I bought myself a Benelli Nova 12 gauge last weekend, it's freakin sweeeet! It was either that or a Beretta 92FS Inoux, but those are so pricy. I still want to buy a standard 92FS 9mm by the end of the year though, lol.
