UnThai [2013-06-11 18:21:46 +0000 UTC]
Good Afternoon,
I want you to become apart of an event I'm hosting for the literary community of DA. It's pretty large and we need as many deviants to participate as possible.
We're hosting a contest/event for their deviations of writing deviants to receive commentary, critique's, and feedback. And during the month of late August, there will be grand prizes.
I was wondering if you would like to join? We're more than happy to have you! I do hope you accept my personal invitation.
Here's the reason why...
I'm creating this very large event because Iβm sick of so many deviations of wonderful literature barely getting the attention they deserve. In fact, there's really only two ways this tends to happen. Itβs either solicited by Spam or added to a Groupβwho doesnβt even help in the department of honest feedback.
You canβt tell me youβre not fed up. And Iβm sure most of you didnβt come to deviant art just to store your writings.
So I came up with a theory, what if they had the opportunity to get the attention they deserve and more? Would they be willing to jump on it?
Of course they would!
Let me ask you this, what personal connection do you have to literature? It's almost as if literature is the air you breathe, no?
As I've stated again and again, I have a goal to bring the Literature Community of Deviant Art back to life. Iβm sure Iβm not alone and Iβm also 100% positive this isnβt the first time youβve seen this type hope become crushed.
And Iβm sure youβre asking, βAlright, how many times do they have to submit something to a group and still see no progress in feedback? How many times do they have to join these events and itβs never legit enough? What makes Your Group so different?β
Weβre here to helpβ¦ Thatβs the differenceβ¦
This isn't about Popularity... It's all about Literature & Commentary...
WE all know the literature of deviant art is slowly decaying and it's time we strive to do better in the community.
I just need you to join.
Thank you for taking your time out to read. If you're interested in participating, here's the [link] . I look forward to having you.
Un Thai

*clicked post way too fast*
Even though I've played it all the way through many times, I still play it from time to time, and there are little things to discover. A little while ago I discovered that if you follow the path all the way to the house, then go away from it and walk around the house, you can see grandma through a window.

Yup. And I'm collecting all the flowers, even though they don't serve a purpose at all whatsoever. There are like over a hundred in total.
Oh my, I look forward too seeing it.

They don't even look like flowers. They're shining, and they're spinning, and they disappear if you run.
Yes please.

They literally disappear, though. And the petals are vertical.
That was beautifulβ₯
I will.

With good reason. Ginger's wolf legitimately scares me. All of them are really cool, though. They kind of symbolize what each girl wishes for.
I really feel like writing right now :3

Rottenfrills In reply to Scatterbone [2013-02-23 02:03:43 +0000 UTC]
Analyzation time yay~
About the flowers, the fact that they disappear might be a metaphor that if you rush though life, you won't notice the small details, like not stopping and smelling the flowers if you will. Never really thought of that before, actually.
Our thing. :3
π: 0 β©: 1
Scatterbone In reply to Rottenfrills [2013-02-23 02:06:59 +0000 UTC]
yeah the whole blur run thing probably have to do with that, but now that you mention it the flowers may be a direct reference to the stop-and-smell-the-flowers metaphor...
oh my god we have to find out moooore and plan and god its fun

Rottenfrills In reply to Scatterbone [2013-02-23 02:19:43 +0000 UTC]
And if you walk the opposite way of where you're 'supposed' to go on the path, there will be some extremely creepy giggling. Maybe it has to do with being made fun of if you turn back to your past/childhood/whatever, or alternatively a bad past that you don't want to go back to.
Yay >w<

The red, you mean? Yup. All the sisters are named after variations of that color too.
Indeed.

have you seen any significance in white or black yet?
π: 0 β©: 1
Rottenfrills In reply to Scatterbone [2013-02-23 14:41:38 +0000 UTC]
Not as I can remember.
π: 0 β©: 1
Scatterbone In reply to Rottenfrills [2013-02-23 15:22:12 +0000 UTC]
okay har me out
see how the sisters have varying amounts of red and black on them right? Robin, who is almost completely red, to for example Rose and Scarlet who are mostly black. I think red means Immaturity/innocence and black means maturity or maturity gained through experiences. and in that sense, white is like the knowledge that made them grow as persons, good or bad. I have heard that the game is about growing up so yeah
π: 0 β©: 1
Rottenfrills In reply to Scatterbone [2013-02-23 21:05:44 +0000 UTC]
Ah, that makes a lot of sense. c:
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the ones who made the game said it was all a metaphor of life or something.

the term
"making the beast with two backs"
its a very old saying dating back and used by Shakespeare more than once
and its basically the shakespearean way of saying someones getting laid.

Rottenfrills In reply to Scatterbone [2013-02-24 12:27:12 +0000 UTC]
Hah, that's awesome.
I think I've heard it before, can't remember where though. Yea, that need to be included.

Scatterbone In reply to Rottenfrills [2013-02-24 12:59:14 +0000 UTC]
like, Trevor is in that just-got-laid mood, basically dancing as he walks and singing an almost serenade...an no one gets it, they just think he's in a really good mood...except the some of the studious sims who actually know of Shakespeare's work. They just go 'oh' and looks in Gordon's flustered direction.
