Yes I am, although I havent been much of dad to her over the years. Believe me its not something that sets well with me either; in fact I dispise the way one of the most important joys and loves in this life have been dangled just always out of reach as if it were more on perpose and not just by sheer coincident. I will not let my anger and hostilities overtake my personality though. I've been very paitent over the years and held much back in fears that it would come back on my daughter. I dont have to any longer. Shes for the most part grown now. Any wayI sold my soul when I joined the military, and lost my heart as I went oversees in 1992.
Phone calls here and there and e-mails here and there were about the only thing Steph and I had left. Ive been able to spend some with her. I did get a month in 1996 and a full day with her while she was staying with her sister in Texas last year. That last visit was so awsome. I get a strong gut feeling that Steph was more than ready to get away from the things she was dealing with in GA.
I cant blame her either. I can understand the dissappearing and going off the grid.
I dont know the storys or the pressures she had back there but I was once part of the family so I could make a fairly good guess as to why and the distance.
I just hope my little girl is doing well and finding her own life, who she is, and what she wants, not someone eleses.
If shes talking to you let her know shes deeply loved and someones saying there prayers for her.
One day, some day she and I'll will have our time together without dictation or judgement.

Wow.. Yeah she seems to be enjoying herself and living her life over in Germany. I'll let her know you've been thinking about her. Sometimes around 1 or 3 in the morning if I'm not able to sleep I see her around on MSN.
As for finding her life- from what she's told me. I think she is, I'm pretty happy for her being able to go back to Germany she seems to love it.

Thanks Emilio, that is a great feeling of releif for me.
She has told me some about you but just some. It also was good.
I am happy to hear she has people looking out for her well being and that she is doing well. Again Thank you.
