It's all good though. DA is so large, it's easy to get buried under the amount of work posted every second. Can't complain about the overall attention from the rest of the internet as it pays some bills ;) (Wink)

Thanks! Times are tough momenteel. Heb een paar jaar als concept artist bij Triangle Studios gewerkt, maar ze moesten me laten gaan, crisis enzo. Ik probeer het nu freelance. Ik kan er nog niet volledig van leven, maar er zitten wat grote langdurige opdrachten aan te komen. Met name op het gebied van comics en concept art voor animatie studios.
Daarnaast wil ik erg graag leren tatoeëren. Een zeer bekende en een van de betere tatoeëerders in NL heeft iig laten weten er voor open te staan om mij op te leiden.
En jij dan? volledig freelance ook?

Ja het valt niet mee ergens binnen te komen en verschuift de markt naar freelance. Ik ben sinds eind vorig jaar freelance gegaan maar heb er in de loop van tijd te weinig aan gedaan om er van te kunnen leven. Wel veel bezig met persoonlijke pieces, te weinig aan het netwerken en klantenwerven. Kom net weer uit een tekendipje van enkele maanden. In die tijd heb ik ook bij de politie gesolliciteerd maar daar helaas de laatste ronde niet doorgekomen. Dus nu back to de illustratiewereld. Het liefst probeer ik bij een studio aan de bak te komen en tegelijkertijd serieus opdrachten scouten voor de freelance.

Zullen we anders binnenkort eens afspreken, biertje oid doen en ff bijkletsen?
