He was an Italian baron. He's kind of controversial because of his political ties in WW2, (he thought fascism was the lesser of two evils...tho he didn't REALLY like the fascist parties, too materialistic, just thought it was better than communism). His writings introduced me to hermeticism/buddhism/yoga and a ton of other stuff...too many to list!

I'm also happy to meet someone on DA that's into hermeticism...you're the first I've met so far!
