History: Built in a doll shop in 1801, Kalinka was sold several times over the years. She never has had a favorite master/owner, considering sometimes she forgets their names.
Kalinka has seen people murdered and tortured in their own beds, so death has little effect on her. However, it does phase her if someone dear to her dies, and she sometimes can't forgive herself for letting someone die.
Kalinka doesn't let her masters know she is a living doll, and instead prefers to stay still when they are around. However, if she likes this master, she may let them in on her secret.
She often refers to her owners as her masters, due to the fact that she doesn't think 'owner' is appropriate. It would be odd to own another living being that takes the appearance of a human, would it not?
The reason she uses 'Romanovskaya' as her fake last name is because she feels it odd not to have one, because she does not. She knew the Romanov family at one point in her life, so she took on their last name and added 'skaya'.
Often if someone asks her why she walks a bit stiff when its hot out, she just tells them she has a minor bone problem.
Some notes:
-Kalinka is secretly envious of humans, due to the fact that they have to worry about what they're gonna do with their lives, they can grow old and they can find love, but since she's a doll, she feels like none of those things are possible for her.
-She loves music, especially calm, sad songs. She isn't emo, but she loves things like that.
-Her favorite colors are black, white, red, and blue. She especially loves anything monochrome or seemingly dark, but has a hidden brighter meaning.
-Her skin and hair almost make her blend into snow, but her eyes make her stand out very well.
-She always has a mournful look in her eyes, regardless of her mood.
-She says as a pun that she feels hollow inside, both emotionally and physically, considering she is possibly completely hollow.
-Kalinka was once the doll of Anastasia Romanov, but when the palace was looted, a man took Kalinka from the palace to his little girl. Kalinka never forgot that day, but tried to shake it out of her head.
