I am forced to resort to wandering the streets window shopping as I try to find something Ryou-san would like. So far nothing has caught my eye until I turn a corner and see a small shop called Occulter. It looks a little dark and mysterious. Certainly no where I would go normally but it also looks interesting and different. With some trepidation I go inside.
It’s small but not overly cramped. The walls look like brick and they have shelves on them so I wander over to take a look. They have different types of jewelry placed on them or weird looking sculptures. I look at everything fascinated until my attention is caught by a black book. When I look closer at the object I realize that it is actually a box and I lift it down to get a closer look at it. It’s dark with an interesting symbol, all circles that are somehow attached, on the top of the box which looks like the cover of a book. On the side is the title of the book “Every Moment of Light is a Dark Miracle.”
There is an old fashioned metal key attached to the box that opens it and once open I find a bunch of different compartments. I close the lid and lock it before bringing it to the counter and then continue to look around.
I turn to the other side of the room which bizarrely enough seems to have food. I aimlessly wander through the different kinds of coffee until I come to a tea section and I stop. There are several different kinds and I stare at them. I head over to the counter to talk to the shop keeper.
“Could I get some of your tea in bags that will fit the box?”
The lady glances at the book box in question and smiles.
“We can do that. Is it a Christmas gift?”
I follow her over to the tea section and nod.
“It’s a secret Santa but I don’t know what kind of tea he likes.”
“How about you try a couple different flavors then.”
I agree and we settle on six different kinds. She puts them into small black bags that say Occulter on them and a different on them. They fit inside the box which we lock again. When she asks I agree to them wrapping it. They use black paper which is admittedly not very Christmassy but it somehow works when they attach a silver bow and ribbon to it.
I’m actually a little excited as I near the house with the gift. I like giving gifts; I like seeing the happiness on people’s faces. I’m just hoping he likes it.
With that thought in my head I knock firmly on the Bakura twin’s door.
So I literally went online to look at ideas for Ryou and I found this Occulter stuff which I thought was cool. She opens the door and smiles at the girl.
"Would you look at that. When I asked for something beautiful for Christmas, I could never have guessed this would be the result."
Bakura Ryou
"Amane, stop scaring people away," his voice was heard from somewhere inside the house.
Bakura Amane
She winked at Shizuka and stepped aside, to let her in. "You're just jealous because you don't have my charm," she called out to her brother, who was already standing up and smiling at Shizuka.
Bakura Ryou
"I could't afford a guard dog so I have Amane to scare people away. Pay her no mind. How are you, Shizuka-san?"

I blush lightly at Amane-san's comments.
"I'm well Ryou-san and don't worry. I like Amane-san," I give her a shy smile. "She doesn't bother me."
I step inside and hold out the gift.
"Um...merry Christmas Ryou-san."

I make a dramatic entrance in Bakura's room as I fly like Batman through the window. Wait, can Batman even fly?! Eh, it doesn't matter. It sure is a manly way to enter someone's room if I do so say myself, but it doesn't help when I fly right through the floor to the room below!
"Gyaaah!! I still gotta get used to being a nonphysical ghost! I hope Bakura didn't see that!" I blurt out to myself as I promptly fly back up to his bedroom.
Once I'm there, I eagerly pull the bed sheets off of my friend, throw them on the floor, and look down at him with a wide grin. I don't even know how I'm able to grab stuff since I'm a ghost, but whatever. It's part of the magic!
"It's tiiiiiime to rise and shine, Bakura!!!" I announce loudly.
Even though the sun is not up yet, the room is illuminated by my head that resembles a candle's flame. I'm also carrying a metal cap in the shape of a candle extinguisher. I have no idea why I have to carry this thing since I don't want anyone putting out my fire!

I find it strange when Bakura does not seem to recognize me. I thought he'd know who I am!
"Oh, c'mon, Bakura! I know my head looks like a Baby Dragon's fire attack, and I'm wearing some sort of weird robe, but I don't look much different from my physical self! It's me, the one and only Jounouchi Katsuya!" I say as I point to myself for emphasis.
"It's part of my duty as the Ghost of Christmas Past to show you parts of your past, so let's go! This should be fun!"
I grin, open the window, and gesture for him to follow me outside.
"Don't be scared of fallin'. Just hold onto my robe and we'll be off!"

"Ηοld onto your robe- ARE YOU CRAZY?! NO, don't answer that, I KNOW you are, but-"
He stares into the... flame of Jounouchi's... head, with big eyes. Taking a deep breath, he gets off the bed and grabs onto his robe.
"Aren't you worried the candle extinguisher will be used against you?"

"H-Hey, rule number one when you're hanging out with me is no mentioning of the candle extinguisher!" I blurt out.
Man, I certainly don't wanna give Bakura any ideas! Then I grin and say, "Of course I'm not crazy! I'm a master at this! Now c'mon!"
It's too girly to hold his hand, so I grab him by the shirt instead and pull him out of the window whether he's ready or not. Soon afterwards, we're flying over Domino City.
"See? Told ya I knew what I'm doing!" I say.

As the realization of what is happening around him sets in, he slowly puts down the wooden spoon carefully and pulls the boiling pot off the stove. He clears his throat before speaking.
"Did... did you just break into my house?" he says, sounding significantly less strict than he would have hoped.

"Door wasn't locked," I respond cheerfully. "So no."
I frown at the realization.
"That's not safe you know," I scold. "Anyone could walk in."
"Kind of like how... you just did. Right now. You know what we call that?" he says, trying to sound strict- managing to sound amused instead.

"Mhm no," I answer. "And I don't really care. Humans have too many silly rules."
I nuzzle my face into his hair happily.
"What are you cooking?"

Instead of finishing his sentence, he gives Marik a strict look. "It's almost dinnertime. Won't your family wonder where you run off to?"

There is pure amusement in my voice.
"It's like their afraid of me or something," I chuckle. "What about you? Where's Sister-Cat?"
He tilts his head. "My sister's out with her friends... Why... would your family avoid you?"

Psychopaths are the ones who have a harder time adapting to society. Sociopaths can almost fully integrate into society.
Yami Marik is a bit of both of these XD he certainly does not adapt to society lol. I feel like Ryou should run lol.<

Amane Bakura: "RYOU! There's someone at the door!"
Ryou Bakura: He comes out of the kitchen, looking around for his sister and finding her in the living room. "Why... why won't you open it then?"
Amane Bakura: She looks up from her laptop, throwing her head back and smiling widely. "Because it's for you."
Ryou Bakura: "How do you know that?" he raises an eyebrow.
Amane Bakura: She shuts the lid of the laptop and gets up, holding it in her arms. "I just know. It's like magic. Plus, I have urgent business to attend to in my room."
Ryou Bakura: "I thought I was supposed to be the anti-social one."
Amane Bakura: She bats her eyelashes at him as she passes by and makes her way to her bedroom. "If it's somebody cute feel free to send them my way!" she offers before closing the door.
Ryou Bakura: He rolls his eyes, smiling and makes his way to the door. He looks through the peephole before wearing a polite smile and opening the door. He opens his mouth, ready to greet the green-haired boy standing in front of him, but the box in his hands attracts Ryou's attention. He stares at it questioningly for a few moments before returning his gaze to Yuusuke. "Hello?"

Yuusuke Fujiwara: *When the male Bakura emerges, he waves with his free hand.*
"Good day! Is this Bakura Ryou? I have something for you."
*He presents the box to the male Bakura, which reveals a blank, black tablet when it is first opened. However, if it is touched, the tablet will display a picture of The Big Bang, which is said to mark the beginning of the universe.*
(The symbolization is that the explosion itself represents the male Bakura and Yuusuke, respectively, whom are both engulfed by their respective blackness, aka possessed by outside forces: Yami Bakura and Darkness. By the way, sorry for the delay; I've been super busy these days, especially with school...)

He holds the tablet carefully, examining it with his eyes. As he runs his fingers on it, the picture appears and Ryou stares at it with big eyes.
"This is..."
He raises his eyes on Yuusuke. "Is this the Big Bang? It's breathtaking... Is this really a gift?"

Yuusuke Fujiwara: "Yeah, I figured that the Big Bang would be a nice gift, seeing as the explosion itself-- in its early stages-- symbolizes a birth of light. After that, said light is engulfed by the darkness of space, until the stars emerge, which brings the light back. If I were that light, then my darkness would be," *sweatdrops* "well, Darkness."
