I Finally read the Hobbit! ^^, It was so awesome!!!, Poor Thorin though!, man I had a slight lump in my throat when I read that part D:

Gosh, Lord of the Rings is a much harder read! XD I read them once, when I was about 10ish, and haven't been able to since. They're really good once you get into them though. How are you likin' them so far?

Its crazy descriptive and detailed. I still can't get over how it takes gandalf nine years to figure out the ring is the Ring. Or is it thirty? Where is the sense of urgency?! XD still, they're great books. Some bits are even pretty creepy! How are you enjoying the books now? Have you finished them?

Wow, it's been over 3 weeks since you commented and I've only read about 2 chapters since then 0_o....I'm still reading the fellowship though XD, I'm on the bit there Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin set off on their merry way ^_^
XD, I see what you mean! I thought Gandalf would have thought the ring was "The one" when Bilbo found it ;], though in the hobbit the ring wasn't really mentioned a lot, I still feel kinda bad for golum though D:

It's been about 3 months since your comment! I don't suppose you'll have long finished the books by now? I like the bit when the Scooby gang finally set off. It's like the story actually begins. (Still can't believe the first few chapters cover years and years!). Could really do without Tom Bombadill though! XD How are you/did you like the books?
Poor Gollum. I always thought that Bilbo should toss the ring back once he managed to escapeΒ - he did steal the Precious - but then I guess there would be no 'Lord of the Rings'... XD

I'm loving them so far!, I adored the Hobbit, and though I've seen LOTR trilogy countless times I'm excited to read the rest of the books XD
I do feel bad for Gollum, I know he's an overly obsessed little creep who killed his best friend and will kill anyone who gets between him ans his "Precious" But I agree with what Gandalf said, He is a creature to be pitied :/, I wonder that as well ;], If gollum never lost the ring in the caves causing Bilbo to find it
