On the book thing ... many, many students put their books on sale cheap on the sell used book sites, (find which ones are used at the school) ... and you can pick them up very reasonalbe, and then sell them the next term.
Students always want the cash out of them fast .. so know what you need ahead of time!!
Yes, college is spendy ... let us hope it gets put to excellent use!!
