lol, honestly wasn't think of that when writing it, but it sounds funny so I'll call it valid theroy.

The idea came from the symbol in question. Before it became associated with nazis, it was (and some cases still is) a symbol meaning good luck, victory, or healing (depending on the culture) that has been around as far back as 10,000 years ago. And has variations across many cultures around the world. Its practically a universal symbol, especially in religious (hindu, buddhist, christian, native american)circles.

So the idea of an ancient alien race trying to use it to appeal to people wouldn't sound so far fetched. Even if their data is horribly dated
