It's stupid really I think my parents just got tierd of them because suddenly my brother is SO allergic to them. I think it's pink eye because he can't keep his hands away from his eyes. But they are all excited about getting rid of them and my Mom won't stop talking about how much she wants to get a new couch after they are gone =3=

Oh, God. I think they've wanted to get rid of them for a long time, and now that your brother's "allergic" he seems like the best excuse they've got. I think it's adding insult to injury when they're EXCITED about getting rid of them, and wanting to get new material things after they're gone. What's it with moms and couches anyways ? Well, the most recent cat I've had (about 4 years back) after my Buttercup died was kind of mean, so my mom threw her out without telling me. She was a good hider so I didn't fret, but she didn't show up for a week. Parents do that. But your parents seem very selfish concerning the whole situation with Nuki and Puk. Why shouldn't you have a say ? I don't think it's fair.

They have, my Dad never wanted them in the first place (even though I take care of them more than anyone) What ticks me off about the couch thing is we NEED a new couch like NOW.And it's not because of dog smell it;s because my brother wet the couch and we had to throw out the couch cushions. THE FACT THE COUCH IS STILL INSIDE BUGS ME. >:C
That's horrible, something similar happened to my cat Troy, It's really sad and I won't go into detail but I wish parents would understand that pets are just as much a family memeber as a anyone. Mine don't seem to get it. ;3;

Your dad seems like he doesn't like any animals in the house. Your brother wet the couch ? Do your dogs even get on the couch ? If they didn't, your parents should've gotten another couch a long time ago. Also, your little brother seems like he gets away with a lot.
I know what happened to Troy, you told me. It's really fucked up (sorry for language) that parents are so cold and indifferent when it comes to pets. You take care of the dogs, you should keep them. At this point, your parents and your brother shouldn't have any say AT ALL over whether you get to keep your dogs or not. Remember that.
They're YOUR dogs, not theirs. They don't do very much when it comes to taking care of them. Also, does your brother pick and choose what dog dander he's allergic to ? Because you said that he went to your gram's house, and she has dogs, and he's just fine.
I think the love for animals skips generations in my family. My great-grandma hated animals. My grandma loves them. My mom hates animals. I love them.
In fact, my great-gram put all my grandma's cats to sleep for NO REASON (She had three Persians), and this was after my grandma grew up. My mom thinks cats are cute, but she doesn't like them in the house, and she's scared to death of dogs.
