Aw thanks! And yeah, of course! You're so good at everything! Your photography is great!
I've been really wanting to draw lately but every time I do i get so frustrated with my art skills. I feel stuck and I don't know how to move forward. This is not the level I want to be at still. What do I do? I'd really like to be able to draw semi-cartoon characters in different positions and with expressions but they're all just standing there... with the same expression. Maybe I should start with studying realistic people before I swerve off into cartoonish land. But I don't know......... I don't know....

Thanks again - really means a lot.
You're definitely not alone there! I've been through this so much lately, but you know what, I think it's a good thing because it shows that you're really trying to push forward. I know it sucks and you really feel like you're literally stuck in limbo, but whenever you can just keep trying new things - simple things to like drawing lips or eyes at different expressions. I think you'll surprise yourself and don't worry too much about style (realistic or cartoon), just do what feels right at the moment - that style will kick in when you feel more confident. I think it's better to get something down than nothing at all. But yeah, don't worry about not knowing what to do - it happens to the best of us! All it takes is that one drawing that puts a smile on your face and then you're off again drawing more and more.

i've decided that if I get really frustrated by not being able to put what's in my head on paper then I need to stop getting all worked up and draw from life or from a photograph. It always makes me say, "oh, yeah! see that? I still have skills." haha

Haha, yeah definitely - It's very tough to draw from imagination. References really do help when you're in a pickle.
