Welcome to my pro DA/Deviantart!

Graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City, I have worked for various clients and I am eager to grow and bloom within the illustration field.

I am best known for creating SANG SAYUR (sŭng sŭ-yoor), a comic series about the colorful daily lives of fruit and vegetable characters with Bawang Putih (Garlic) as its main character.

SANG SAYUR was the only Indonesian entry winning the Bronze Prize of 2007 International Manga Award, established by then-Japanese Foreign Minister, Taro Aso.

SANG SAYUR was published in December 2012 by KOLONI, a local comic division of Gramedia.

In all of my work, I go under my pen name, S Y S.

heeey how are you?  thanks for watching me.  i have watched you earlier.  well ... i wanted to revamp my work on my old DA but didnt have time for it .... so i decided to just make a new pro DA account.  its easier that way.

BIW 2014 was great, despite a few hiccups coming from one of the artists but she managed to compensate it somehow.  too bad due to my early departure, i had to miss her presentation.  it was a force majeure type of situation, after all
