Well, I'm in nursing now. Registered nursing to be exact. I love it but it's backbreaking work...literally. I injured my back very early on in my new profession and now I am always in pain. I don't have as much time as I use to to draw or be online.
I stopped going to FA 4 years ago (yeah seriously). Just got bored with it. Plus, I never really identify myself as a furry. I just like anthro art.

That is good! I tried getting into being a caregiver, but that never happened though it was just because I didn't have the right papers for it. Ouch with the back pain, what happened exactly? Fair enough hell I honestly would prefer being offline and actually you know working. Jobs are still a pain to find. I remember when you left, but I stuck around because I love the art. I am no furry either and I have thought about leaving to be honest, but I guess time will tell.
I see you still got that style I remember and I am glad you never let go of that. But it is really good to know your still kicking and we definitely need to keep in touch. Do you have a cell? Maybe we could text sometimes or just chat if your ever up for it.

Right papers? What do you mean? You could get your STNA license after 8-11 days of training in some states. I got mine while I went to school for $300. You can get $9-13 an hour doing that. (I loved it)
I was lifting a patient into bed. There was an STNA with me and I was helping her. In my rush, I lifted with my back, not my knees, and totally regretted it. Goddamn, it was painful.
And just note me and I'll give you my cell.

Perhaps it is different where you are lol. I guess I was dealing with some idiots then, but even so I really couldn't afford that and currently where I live there is just nothing. There is still time though to figure that out if that is still something that sounds interesting when I do have the means.
I honestly figured it might of happened then and ouch I know it hurts, I did that before myself, but it wasn't a person, it was boxes from moving :/ I wonder if there is a way to get your back into shape again though I am sure you checked into this already.
I shall send you that note with my cell and all ^^

I actually learned from A&P that when you are 16, your back is at your peak performance. After that, your back slowly goes to hell. Sadly, there is little we can do fix bad backs. You can take pain pills, put hot/cold packs on your back, rest, go to psychical therapy, go to a chiropractor, or get weekly massages. If push comes to shove, maybe surgery. But the medical field can't really do much for backs. Back pain is the leading cause of narcotic pill abuse. I have Vicodin for my back but I am trying to only take them when ibuprofen and Tylenol isn't enough.
