It had not been more than a few hours since Luke's encounter with the liger tamer, and already an uneasy atmosphere loomed over the city of Daath. He hurried to the cathedral, willing to convince the townspeople that they are not the ones Arietta was after. He was the main reason she attacked. He was desperate to make that clear. "And I let her escape so easily..." If the innocent were to find him at fault, they had every right.
As he anticipated, a restless mass of civilians barricaded the entrance of Daath Cathedral. However, Luke stopped in his tracks as he spotted the Princess of Kimlasca almost immediately. "Natalia? What is she doing here?" Stumped over the circumstances, Luke kept his distance aside a nearby building. He couldn't go ahead without the princess scolding him for not arriving sooner.

Citizens of all kinds turned simultaneously at the princess. Their expressions wore of anger and fear. The children soon hid behind their parents and shook violently. A God-General was never a good sign once entering another city. "Princess, please help us! The Fon Master is trapped inside and Arietta the Wild is on her way here to kill us all!!"
Was she hearing things? Or were her people suddenly thinking of leaving their homes just because of one intrusion. Natalia wore a look of courage and seriousness towards the men, women and children. "The Kimlascan Army Forces are here in this state. You shall not be harmed. I have ordered them to protect each and every one of you. Please return to your homes. Everything is under control."
"Oh, thank you, Princess Natalia! Your kindness will always be cherished within our hearts. May Lorelei grant you the power to stay noble forever!" A woman thanked and bowed. The crowd soon had disappeared.
"I do not wish for you to stare at me, Luke."

The prince's shoulders jumped at the call of his name. Shutting his eyes and balling his fists, he forced himself beyond his hesitation. "Natalia..." he said, looking directly at the princess as he approached her. "If you hadn't come here, the whole city probably would be in a panic by now." Grateful of that noble attitude of hers, he tried to smile with some enthusiasm.

You can say that Luke didn't notice Sync but saw Arietta run away from the scene making it look like she's the one who did it.
"Well, there had been numerous complaints of Arietta's appearance in this autonomous state," Natalia scoffed, crossing her arms at her chest. She circled to the prince with hindrance showing all over. "I love all of these people and do not wish to see them run away in terror. That's why Father had trusted me with this task." Finally, her voice was gentle. Natalia brought her hands together and up to her chin. "Don't you find it rather strange to why she's attacking even when we haven't seen Van anywhere, Luke. . ?"

Luke heard his name being called from afar...several times? He looked around but saw no one familiar. "Must be my imagination," he said, rubbing his head. ;<

Anise kept running around. She felt she had been near Luke several times,but never saw him.
"Luuuuuke? Aaaargh,this is annoying! Where is he when you need him?! Okay,plan B!"
Anise ran to the rooftop of a nearby house and looked around from there. She then finally spotted the redhead from not too far away,grabbed a stone nearby and threw it in the direction of Luke.

"Ehh?!" Just as Luke started to walk off, he was startled from the sudden thump right behind his feet. He crouched and picked up the stone, realizing that Anise was following him, but would she really go this far to get his attention? A simple 'hello' would be much easier.

Anise saw that Luke wasn't even looking around to see who threw the rock. She threw another one. "I'm over here,Luuuuuuke~!Can't you see me~?" She screamed from the rooftop.

Luke smiled and was about to say hello--"Gwah!!" but flinched as the stone struck him in the forehead. He pressed his hands against the red scrape and then finally looked up, one eye shut and tearing. "Uwaah...haha... Yes," he said, laughing a bit. "I can see you, Anise. Did you want something?" ;w;

Anise raced to Luke at high speed and stopped right before him with a big smile. "I couldn't find my Luke-sama anywhere,so I went up a rooftop to see if I could find you!" she laughed at seeing at the reaction of Luke. "How can you not know what I want? I want to marry you,of course~!" she glomped Luke as she said that. "Marry me~!" and make me rich,she thought.

Luke was clearly being suffocated and had no idea how to make Anise let go of him. "I-I'm sure that one day you'll find someone better suited than me..." |D;; There he goes putting himself down again.

Anise glared at Luke when he said that. "What'd you mean? You're peeeeerfeeectly suited for me~!" and she kept on hugging Luke. (unless there's a person even more rich then Luke,Anise thought.)

A smile slipped uneasily to the left side of his face, and he chuckled as four dark lines pressed on the side of his forehead. Anise was very sweet, yet Luke knew it was an act. "Shouldn't I be the one to ask that?" he asked, looking Anise in the eyes with a casual frown. "You are Ion's guardian, aren't you?"

Anise glared at Luke. "Ion's busy with a meeting and I'm not allowed to come in,so I'm all alone. You don't appreciate the cute company?" she looked very sad at Luke,although it's very obvious she's faking it.

Luke's mouth was open but he held his breath to avoid laughing at her. He giggled quietly, now understanding Anise's reason for wanting his attention. "I'm sorry. You're right," he complied, and patted her head as if she were a blameless little girl. "It's always a pleasure seeing you. But...would you mind letting me go? It's kind of hard to breathe."

Anise blinked,then let go of Luke quickly. "S-sorry,Luke. Didn't mean to suffocate you,heheh..." She smiled sweetly at Luke. "What are you up to,Luke?" she asked.

"Nothing, really. It's so boring at the manor, I just wanted some fresh air." Luke had been training for most of the week and his mother worried about his lack of rest. He tried not to let that on.

Anise nodded slowly. "I see...So,uh...Shall I join you on getting some fresh air?" She obviously wasn't planning on leaving Luke already now she finally got his attention,so she started pulling Luke's arm. "C'mon! Let's go,Luke~!" she grinned.

It seems the prince was stuck with Anise, but he couldn't help but smile. "Right. Let's go," he nodded, and walked beside her.

Anise pulled Luke to every little shop she thought was good and went pointing to all kinds of stuff that looked cool or cute. "Ooh,see that,Luke? Isn't that cute?" She was totally enjoying this little trip. She wouldn't let Luke watch something long enough before she pulled his arm again to another shop. Such a little hyper child Anise was.

"Yes, it's very--ah!" |D;; Once again the restless little girl leashed him away without the chance to finish a thought, but to his relief, since everything looked like junk to him. He admitted that Anise had an eye for well-crafted charms and rings, but who needs any of these things? And why just look at them? Why get excited over a piece of jewelry and then not buy it?
Browsing through each shop like this seemed a little hectic and pointless, but one thing Luke did understand: his left arm was Anise's for the day.

Anise kept pulling Luke to one shop to the other,without resting one little second. Then at one shop she stopped and didn't move anymore. She stared into the shop's window. Anise's eyes showed that she was totally spaced out for the moment. And after having running to every shop,pulling Luke's arm all the time,this seemed strange for the little hyper-active child.

Luke glanced around, meeting several eyes of the passerby, and returned their esteeming looks with a kind smile, greeted whoever bowed his or her head and called his name respectfully.
Then something occured to him, that he may have gone a full minute without hearing that powerfully cute squeal, signaling him to prepare for a harsh tug on his arm. Not once since being dragged to this shop has he been forced to look at anything. He leaned toward Anise, poking her shoulder. "Are you done looking yet?" He blinked, seeing that she was oddly silent. She seemed to be musing over something in the window. "Anise?" .__.

Anise didn't hear Luke calling out for her. She continued staring at whatever she was staring at. Anise's eyes were devoid of the sparkling cheeriness she had just a few moments ago. Finally she turned around to walk away,her face still showing a bit of an absent mind. A soft whisper escaped her mouth: "...So expensive..."

"A- Anise?" the prince gasped, his face washed over with awe. He glanced through the shop window and spotted a strikingly girlish item, stunned by its fairly low price. He sighed. It must have upset her somehow...
"Anise!" A moment later, Luke came trailing behind her and, smiling softly, he took her hand. "Here. This was what you were staring at, right?" In Anise's palm lay an elegantly fabricated pair of hair ribbons, definitely an item made to brighten a little girl's mood, Luke hoped. "If you wanted it that badly, why not just ask me? The price wasn't that big of a deal."

Anise heard Luke calling out for her. She turned around and got the ribbons pressed in her hands. Her eyes grew big. "L-luke-sama...Did you just buy this for me?" She blinked at Luke. But then she got her stubborn attitude, only trying to hide her embarrasment. "I-I never said I didn't had the money or, or something. A-and how could I ask something like that?" her staggering only made her embarrasment more obvious.
