Poll: Who is the worst politician in history? Both foreign and domestic? So we "lost" a lot of weapons in Iraq according to the New York Times and Bush went AWOL according to Dan Rather. Ironic that Clinton was a draft dodger and the French Gov placed half and ounce of plastic explosives in the luggage of a passenger at DeGaulle to have bomb sniffing dogs trained on, but then put the luggage on one of 90 planes leaving at that time, and now has no idea where it is. Could be in the US, Bolivia, Brazil, or a lot of other countries. Afterall, 90 planes hold a lot of people, and if DeGaulle wasnt taking them to their final destination, then thats a whole lot of places it could be. We may have lost some bombs, but we didnt put plastic explosives in our travlers luggage and send them on their merry way. To me, that would say that the French Government is a terrorist organization. Gee, imagine that!

Unfortunately the cliche that distance makes the heart grow fonder is true. Even the despot mourns unrequited love, hence the despot is not entirely heartless. Yet, the flipside is being gone two weeks from someone who does not reciprocate ones affection would make it exceedingly difficult to deal with the fact that upon return there is nothing between them more than the solid friendship that everything must be built upon to begin with. Yet, the truth to that is modestly comforting because while I have a love for her, she is only a friend and that basis will continue to last long after anything, as it has long before anything. Nonetheless, it is continually enjoyable to allow our minds to wonder and long for someone who we know is completely out of our league and unnattainable. Afterall, the mind longs for that which it cannot obtain, and that is most definately the case in the given situation. However, if we long for something we must intrinsically seek after it in earnest, for perhaps God shall bless us with it. How much more our blessing when we ask for it? Therefore, we pursue lost causes, just as I shall pursue yet another lost cause in a striving to obtain that which cannot be obtained, for if she could be obtained then someone by now would have realized that with her class, character, beauty, and everything that makes her the person who demonstrates so much inner beauty, not to mention her physical person, would have saught after her. Perhaps everyone has come to the came conclusion as I and realized that chasing her is like chasing the mythical unicorn, something of great value and great reward, but something seemingly mythical that despite all the efforts to obtain it, always gets away after one has expended much energy in the search for that reward. But this instance, I do not search for the reward, for I search earnestly for nothing more than her affection and companionship. It is not about the cost, the sacrifice, or any of that, it is about spending the time with her, knowing that I love her now as a friend and want to have the necessary relationship to later love her as something more. But, wishful thinking is precisely that, wishful. So I leave you all now knowing that I have immense feelings for one, yet that is without compare to the love I have for God, for Elohim, Jehova Jira.
