I got most of them just from googling, some are from here on deviant art, but lots are from a site called galaxygui, they have a thread that people just add icons they have for everyone to see and download. I have modified a couple of them too.
The little thing in the corner is a vista sidebar gadget, it changes constantly and cycles through random colours, so if you see a set of colours come up that go well together that you like, you press the centre button and it records the colour values of the colours on the display so you can use them.

If you want any or all of the icons but can't find them I'm happy to email them to you.

Not so much all of the icons more or less, but that sidebar gadget is really tempting.
I know this is probably asking for much, but could you link me to the place you got that gadget?

Can't find it on the vista gallery anymore but it's called color swatch - found another link for it that I just tested, go here [link]

and download the one called Softpedia Mirror (US) [OTHER]
then double click and it will install it into your gadget gallery.
