Listening to Evanescence. Amusing myself with stories and songs I wrote last year. Pretending that it's NOT 4:00 am.

Hah-hah! Only 1:00 am here! (Well, technically 1:15 now, but whatever.) Yeah, sound fun. I'm looking at steampunk stuff on the internet. I shall make myself steampunk goggles, I have decided. Steampunk is cool.

4:23 here! And I've been up later than this all week. Steampunk rocks.

I think, Shay, that we need to make some steampunk costumes. Or something. I really want to try making some costumes, and I really want steampunk goggles. Bit of a long-term desire, really. Anyway. I'm not totally crazy, am I?

I know. I know I know I know. To be fair, though, it isn't that we've forgotten about the Greek ones. We're still in the planning stage. And we pulled together for Halloween! So we're not doing to badly...I guess...

I appreciate this! And I see your also like corgis (enough to fave a pic of one). There is a corgi sleeping on my foot RIGHT now. ;D

Like I said, no problem. Oh, yeah, I like corgis. Corgi on foot? That's cute. Unless your foot is asleep, I guess. What's your corgi's name?
(Oh my god, I can't believe I'm talking about corgis. I promise I'm more interesting than this makes me seem.)

(Corgis are the MOST interesting, actually!) His name is Virgil. He often puts my limbs to sleep. He just turned a year old on the 25th of September but he is already 32lbs. Vet says it is a normal, healthy weight. ;__; He is such a dense creature. And also, I think, possibly a crime lord. Bigger dogs somehow respect him! I sure know how to pick animals.

Virgil? That's cool. If you ever buy another male dog, you should name him Dante. (I know, I'm kind of a nerd.) Wow, big dog. My mom's corgi (who is a singularly obnoxious creature) is really dense too. Virgil's a crime lord? That's cool! Someday someone should write a story about a corgi who's a crime lord. Maybe I will. Hmm... And I am quite jealous of your animal-picking skills.

I wanted to name our new boy Dante, because Dante's Inferno is a great book. BUT... He is named Edmond Dantes instead. Because my boyfriend recently became obsessed with the anime version of the Count of Monte Cristo. AND YES! Write an epic tale of crime and lordery!

It is a great book. But...well, Edmond Dantes technically has Dante in it, so I guess you could count it...Wait, there's an anime version of the Count of Monte Cristo? Huh. I feel enlightened now. I will get to the tale of crime and lordery soon! Perhaps during vacation...

There sure is! It's called Gankutsuou. And it is in SPACE. Partially... I... The Count is blue... And... Uhh... Well, it is a lot better than it sounds. >.>

Two questions: Is it worth checking out and can I find it online? I actually have a friend who really like anime, so I'll tell her about it.

It is worth checking out and I bet you can find it somewhere online. I do enjoy it enough to own it on DVD. I do enjoy a lot of anime, though. I am kind of a weirdo like that. XD

I'll check it out then! I'll let you know when I watch it, okay? And it's totally fine. I'm religiously addicted to SNL, so I totally understand.

Yes! Do so. I would love to hear your opinion on the show. It's pretty good as far as anime goes, and anime can go SO wrong. XD lol SNL rules.

I will do so! I can't wait to tell you my opinion!
So other than this, anything else I should start watching?

lol Well, I don't know! My favorite anime in the entire WORLD is called Baccano! and I think I like it because it is based off of a set of novels. And there is a show that is after it based off novels by the same author called Durarara! which is also pretty good. But to be honest with you, I have watched WAY too many things! If you are interested in anime at all I would definitely watch Baccano! ... Yes, the exclamation if part of the title. It's not too long but it is great.

I'll definitely check out Baccano! because it sounds interesting. Out of curiosity, have you watched Bleach? I have friends who swear by it and I don't know whether to check it out or not. I have to be honest, I only know fantasy novels by Neil Gaiman (I think I've read almost everything he's ever written - there are a few short stories I've missed) and I'm into British sci-fi because it's so goofy. I'll check out Baccano! though!

(LOVE NEIL GAIMAN) I have watched some Bleach but it went on FOREVER and it just never seemed to have an end. Then there was this side plot in the middle that was like thirty episodes that had nothing to do with the rest of it so I was like: "... What?" and I gave up. I MAY attempt to watch it again someday but I am not sure. ><
