Hahaha sorry dude I haven't really been on here like as of lately at all. I barely upload stuff and don't check my messages anymore. I'd love to but I'm swamped with so much other stuff. And I never got in. I was denied my student loan because of the current economic state so I had no way of paying for it. So now I'm just working to save up money to HOPEFULLY go next year sometime. :/ as for now though I work like all the time and barely have time to do art. but yeah no ringling for me. What about you?

i got into CA, and since i've done school and work every summer so far since 8th grade i'm finally taking a summer off, 100% break!
though i can all ready start to feel boredom set in, i may get a job at Khol's unloading trucks, it's early in the morning and is only 2x a week.

You should really try to do some art still, you don't want to get rusty. Fill up 2 sketch books before the end of the break. If i remember correctly, Shawn Barber(IL) transfered into Ringling after 2 years at a local university. I would call Ringling up and start asking about that, how much and what can transfer. If nothing else your art courses that you can take at a community college will count as electives, and you can get rid of several of the LA and art history courses.

Hahaha no problem bro! I really like that piece. All of it is expertly done in my opinion and I guess it shows if its going on to state finals! Hells yeah! Congrats on that and did you ever get into Ringling? Thats what I plan on trying for but I mean I'm kinda scared to submit anything. you may have noticed i just noticed you were applying for Ringling too from a reply earlier, but i wouldn't worry much at all! They take quite a few seats, i hear that people move up really fast on the waiting list, and you have several strong pieces, they were approving quite a few portfolios during portfolio day (that's a must go if it hasn't past yet for you).

Well thats a sign of relief. But I won't fully settle until I either get in or denied. XD And whats portfolio day?? I've never heard of it. I saw it on the site but didn't bother to read it. I guess I should do that...But I live in Fort Worth so I don't know if its passed or not...?

Hit me up when your going to fly over, we may be able to catch the same plane.

and portfolio day was last semester, but what happens is A LOT of art universities, like Ringling, come to a central location in your region and can give you a portfolio review. They will tell you what you need more of, what you need to work on, ect., to get accepted into their college, as well as tell you a lot of information about their university, and it's a chance to ask any questions you have.
