The weather here is quite opposite; the sun is away, and the rain has started just in time for spring break.
Lately, I have been stressed and overworked. (Senior year of high school, hard classes, no time for anything but sketches, etc.)
I hope, as well, for a productive summer, though mine is still two months away.

Oh, alas!
Be glad that you're graduating, however. I'm surprised to hear that your senior year is working you hard. Junior year was the most demanding at my school, and seniors had the liberty to take "fun" classes, since most of the big tests had already been issued.
I hope that the rain breaks soon, the atmosphere is so refreshed and invigorating the day after a storm.

Last year was sort of my "easy" year, and I didn't really see the merit in just taking fun classes. I can't complain too much about the workload, you see, since this it was a schedule of my choosing.
Still rainy.

Ah, i see. Happy Easter to you, too. Once i got to college, i regretted working so hard in high school and not protesting the administration/getting in trouble more. Planning to attend an art school of some sort?

I'm already regretting how I've worked in high school.
I don't know if it is just from frustration, or stress, or something, but I have been feeling, of late, that my entire future is mapped out before me, and I have no real control over the outcome. I'll go to a mediocre, local college, try to fulfill my goal and dream of graduating pre-med, but part-way through, as evidenced by the hopes of my teachers and parents and peers, I'll end up giving up and going into some form of art.
Objectively, its not that bad; but where others have a desire to rise out of one's home and status quo, i have a need. I could not survive in the suburban, middle class lifestyle. I need to explore and discover and become something with worth and purpose, and I know that, based on where I've been, that's not where I'm going.
I'm sorry to unload like that, but its been nothing but defeat and stress lately.

Ah that's quite alright. Senior year is a stressful and pretty defining time (senior year coupled with the year following). You know, school isn't the only path available. Maybe you could join the peace corps, travel overseas as a volunteer or work/go to school there (there are organizations that will get you odd jobs and housing on local farms as you travel across say, Europe). If you want to escape suburbia, a city is a step up. But don't forget that the whole world is out there, too. And it's not that uncommon for people to put off school to live life for a while (there are risks, like getting out of the academic habits, but these sort of adventures get harder to endeavor over time). Just some thoughts. I came from suburbia too, and now am in NYC. But i'm still anxious to just leave the US!

I've actually considered the Peace Corps, but a college degree "helps your chances of acceptance," meaning I'd need a degree first.
I guess it was just stress talking, but I really dislike the idea of a predetermined future. Meh.
NYC. Awesome. There for the art? or school, or what?
