Hello, my (nick)name is Who and you may not remember it but... we used to be friends- kinda like sisters.

I have not forgotten today is your birthday, it's always marked on my calendar. I only do that with very important people... and you're one of them. Forgive me I haven't drawn you something special but maybe you won't even read this message so...

I know I've said a lot of things, sent a message with hurtful words but those were words the came out of pain and betrayal. Yes, I felt betrayed. But I can't blame you really. I could never mean that. Many people have told me that it's better if I don't keep hope and wait for you to come back, that I'm only wasting my time in a lost cause and part of me agreed with them.

However... I can't fully accept the fact that you may not consider me your friend anymore.

I'm still thinking about the things I said in the past, trying to remember where did I go wrong, how did I offend you- sadly nothing comes to mind. Even so, I want to apologize. From the heart.

I don't know if you remember this but I told you I had been hurt before, that those past..."betrayals" ... have driven me to close my heart to people and friendship. You helped me, remember? You helped me be more human and embrace friendship again!

What happened, then? Where those promise fake, just like the thousands of promises I got from those I trusted in the past?

Where did you go?

Are you alright?

Is your family ok?

... I guess I'll never know.

But you know what? I won't ever stop sending a message. I will never stop believing. I won't give up.

That was our motto, sister. Never. Give. Up!

And yes, I did have a moment of weakness! I admit it! But I'm trying to fix whatever I did and whatever I said!
