Ah, cool. Yeah, I've been meaning to get Photoshop. I have CS2 on my laptop (which is a crappy piece of crap), but I haven't been able to get anything on my desktop. Until then, I just use MSPaint. :-/

Are you sure you downloaded the right GIMP? Or are we talking about the wrong MSPaint. It's the one that comes with windows, right?

GIMP has layers, pressure sensitivity, layer modes, and like a billion other things.

so yeah, find out how to turn pressure sensitivity on, and use that.
