Zao is pretty much the only christian band I listen to. I've never really done a search on bands based on their religious views. Although a majority of the bands I listen to aren't fond of Christianity? That's metal I guess.

I know what you mean, I'm not lame where I'd only like a band if they're Christian, I just like to be safe... ya know? just in case. I guess you can't really expect anything metal-related to be too god-friendly. oh well.

yea most of the metal bands I listen aren't too fond of religion in general, and then people take it further and accuse of them of being devil worshippers.
Although I have been checking out some Black Metal bands lately.
I'd say death metal is my favorite subgenre.
I've got some Extol already and I've never heard of Underoath so I'll check them out.

Make sure you listen to OLD underoath, their two newer albums suck BAD, get stuff from Cries Of The Past and Act Of Depression. So what do you think of Extol? I think I love them.

I have been listening to a bunch of random songs I downloaded from way back. Apparently most of them are from the Undeceived album. To be honest the vocals were really annoying the shit out of me. I'm not too big on prog vocalists heh
However, I am listening to Burial right now and so far it's fucking awesome.
