It's going ok, started training for my next skate trip. I'm sponsored by Mindless Longboards now as well which is exciting! I've just started doing work experience with a carpenter and I'm waiting to hear back about a job with another one. Missing Africa but I'll go back after my trip some time.

Im still CHUing away in my Kizzy fashion.
Just currently doing the shit for the UAL Foudation Diploma work for Graphics which is absolute BULL.
But yeah i'm okay.

Hmm yeah... the graphics stuff gets old. It ruined my eyes dammit and the endless computing gets to be a bit soul destroying! I got outta that game - know enough to use it to make money freelancing and now I'm doing carpentish stuff because I like working with my hands ^_^
The carpentry malarky is quite kitchen based atm - making and fitting them but it's also just learning to use various tools and getting the hang of the various tricks of the trade. Bit of joinery. I've done woodwork for a few years as a hobby so it's nice to do more of it and get paid for it

What are you up to course atm then?

I might be on the TV - they put Laura Hatwell (skater from Plymouth) on Spotlight for doing 500 miles and I'm doing 650ish (1000km but I'm not sure what that is in miles). I should at least be in the paper again and I'm on the interwebz already [link]

Africa is amazing though. I had a strange day yesterday where it seemed to be really surreal to be back in England I'm pretty involved with LIV now anyway, what with all the distance charity skatings etc. so I'm sure I'm going back. Maybe you can take a holiday there once you finish your collegeness?

Yea SA was amazing, i didnt want to leave, a mate of mine from there has just moved back to Cape Town. Lucky bastard. So i'm staying friendly like heehee xD

Im almost up to my FMP but we are currently doing the publication for the Summer Show. Which sucks.

I still need to do the Cape Town thing. See the new wonder of the world, try surfing maybe (avoiding sharks...) and meet all the skaters. Hopefully I can go on me next time over there - though I do intend to spend more time in Durban because I fell in LOVE with it when I went, it's amazing

No worries How do you find the S2000HD? I find it's amazing for close work and ok-ish for most other applications but I've been thinking I want to upgrade to something with a few more megapixels at some point. Only problem is I spend all of my money on skateboards cameras must wait!

I like that it has a natural light setting, nice way to get decent shots without using the manual mode if you\re feeling lazy

Ah how nice. I'm not there for my actual birthday but am there for some of this weekend. I doubt I'll be able to do anything then though because I have family coming from a long way away because it's my bday. I may be free tomorrow evening though (getting train back tomorrow noon-ish), how's that?
