I also think that Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann would be a level 12 Synchro, and then they'd go beyond the impossible with Super Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, which is level 13!

I have this theory that since there's absolutely no mention of the events or event concepts from 5Ds in Yu-Gi-Oh ZEXAL, or vice versa, both they both mention the original show and GX, that they both exist in different future timelines. Basically the timeline split sometime after GX, and now ZEXAL and 5Ds are alternate universes. The 5Ds universe generated the white-bordered Synchro monsters, while the ZEXAL universe generated the black-bordered Xyz monsters.

Also possible, since Heartland clearly isn't Domino City, but even so, all the other existing cards are the same, and yet, no Synchros/Xyzs, so I still stick by my theory because maybe it's needlessly complicated but it's also still simple enough and it explains everything handily at the moment ; )
