Tools of the Trade: Daz Studio 4.6 (Daz3D), GIMP# About me
I'm just barely started into the field, I didn't even feel totally right clicking "I am an artist" yet, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?I work in Daz Studio 4.6, and I'm working on learning how to touch up images in GIMP to clean up issues like skin tone and clipping hair.

Thanks for the watch, and the compliment. I dunno about you not being an artist, a beginner, sure, lots to learn? Fine. But not an artist? Pfft. 'Sides, your stuff ain't too bad at all!
Anyhoo....if you ever have any questions, drop me a line and I'll do my best.

Thanks so much for the support and you might not want to make that offer, I'm sure I could become quite the pest
And sorry about the LONG delay in answering, real life/work kept me away from fun stuff like this

Meh, go ahead, pester away. If I can answer I will, that's how we get somewhere. It sure won't be through reading those abundant Daz manuals.
Yeah, I know, my sarcasm is showing

Don't we all just LOVE crawling through hundreds of pages of manuals?
FYI feel free to offer any critiques or thoughts you might have on my pieces too Β And please ignore "Casually relaxed by a pool"'s "ground" surface... or lack thereof... I really had no idea how to finish that right haha

Well...one thing about manuals, you tend to really miss them when you don't have them.Β
Daz software is the one group where RTFM does not apply, 'cause there is no manual lol.Β
Y'know, ground in 3D is actually difficult to do well. Even dirt is a highly textured, and often highly detailed. Add in grass, pebbbles and detritus and all of a sudden it's not 3D, it's landscaping.
