# About me

Hi,
I am a visual artist based in South Wales. I did my BA in Fine Art at Swansea College of Art and MA in Painting in the Royal College of Art in London.

primarily I am a painter, drawer and print-maker but have recently been getting into incorporating digital work in the mix using original analogue images and working with those to give them new life and uncover new dimensions.

Creating alternative dream spaces is the ongoing theme of my work and it is a process of discovery with each of the works as they are never planned or preconceived. It feels like wandering into another dimension and I guess it is literally so- from the 2D surface to the 3D illusion to the perception of multi-dimensional synchronicity which is within and beyond the actual painting.

The objective is ultimately transcendental, and inner vision plays as significant a role as an immense love for nature and experience of the spiritual.

I hope that the works take you on a journey that reveals something new or unexpected- as it is normally very fluid and dense and at times optically challenging- the actual things that emerge out of the images really change from one person to the other and so it is also a type of an imaginative inward journey.
