A type of fangirl. Collectively, they were the worst fans and among the most irrational, aggravating people I ever had to deal with.

What's a wilkie and how does one go about shipping it?

"Wilkie" is the pairing of Wilt and Frankie from Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. "Shipping" is short for Worshipping; thus, Wilkie shippers were a group of fangirls who worshipped the idea of the characters as a couple. There was never any evidence whatsoever that the the two had any romantic interest in each other but that didn't stop the shrieking idiots from distorting and deliberately misinterpreting anything seen on the show as "proof" that there was something going on. One horrid old bat even wrote a review where virtually everything in one particular episode was "evidence" of a relationship. Completely delusional. Eventually the head writer of the show told them point-blank that there was in fact NO RELATIONSHIP and the lot of them finally shut the hell up. Worthless bunch of losers, made the whole fandom look bad.

Wilt was the tall guy and Frankie was the caretaker lassie, right? Pft. Nothing going on. Then again I have a blatant hatred of anybody that pairs characters up for their own fantasies. It unnerves me. Other examples...Zutara - Zuko and Katara from Avatar, even worse are the Jazz and Wheeljack pairings from the original Transformers...and then Prowl gets involved, and it just gets messy.

That's all it was, too, a twisted fantasy. They didn't give a damn about Frankie, either, to them she was just a proxie through which they could screw Wilt. Gah, bunch of... anyway, I know what you mean about the Avatar and Transformer pairings, too. I sometimes wonder if some fangirls (and fanboys, to be fair) are even capable of enjoying a show as it is, without injecting their own fantasies into it.

Everybody's permitted to have a fantasy. It's when you start twisting reality into your fantasies that things get fucked up. You may fantasise about a particular girl...soon as you start forcing that fantasy on other people, you end up arrested.
But if the characters are fictional...it's somehow okay. For the record, I hate Hentai too.
