It's doing better but I am going to have to go to a specialist for my finger. I'm able to draw but it does hurt so I take breaks. Thank you for asking

Yikes, but perhaps a good thing. It'll probably help with preventing finger loss. Btw you may lose feeling in you finger like heat, cold, touch sensations for a while and can be permanent too sometimes. Depending on the trauma. If all goes well despite that you should still be able to use it pretty well. Makes sure to do all the physical therapy they tell you too. When it gets to that point, no matter how bad it hurts. People mess up in this stage a lot and make the injury weaker and worse thinking the pain is making it worse. By all means don't over do it, but make sure to do your pt.
I have to be more careful with it though. Smacked it all day yesterday at work. Bleh. Two years ago my husband cut the pinky finger. He didn't do his therapy right and now his finger won't stretch back all the way.Β Β

It's going to sound gross, the piece I cut fell off. But it has healed and the skin is growing back very well. And the best news is, no surgery.
