I thought about including ground chariots, but seeing as they don't offer any real advantage when everyone is already as fast as whatever is pulling, I scrapped the idea.

For now, I'm pretty much done with Classical Equestrian units. I do like the idea of Unicorns with swords and shields though, so maybe I'll include them as a more offensive counterpart to the Royal Aegis for the Royal Sisters' army.
Pegasus Myrmidon
Hmm, I don't really see the point of these, since Myrmidons would have been essentially just a bunch of hoplites, if a particularly skilled one. Plus their name refers to a certain tribe of people as opposed to being a description like hoplite or legionary, so it's not exactly suitable to be used for ponies.
Chinese Chu-Ko-Nu
Now here's an interesting thought.
I suppose Chinese-esque empire would be a pretty cool idea, maybe ruled by a Kirin Emperor. I'll have to give some thougt to that.
As for Timberwolf cavalry, I do find it a very cool idea, but not very fitting to the setting I got in mind, so I'll pass.

Hey thanks for the watch! Sorry I took so long to thank you I'm really new to this place (It's crazy some people have been here for 10 years and I'm just now getting here, lol). Like I said on the Mlp forums, I love the style in your pencil drawings and I can tell you've been drawing for a while. I'll be taking some time to check you gallery and fav/comment soon. One last thing, since you've given me solid critique in all my threads on mlpforums on ponies, would you be willing to critique/comment on some of my non pony work in my gallery? I need to clear up all my scans (I ruined the highlights with my scanner) but they're clear enough to at least be viewable, lol. I'd really aprecitae it, thanks in advance.
