# About me
Hi there. Stay awhile and look around. I hope you enjoy my work. I love to paint in the abstract/ surreal style, call it whatever you would like. I also dabble in photography, Iβll be posting some of that later. I welcome any feedback I can get. Everything is in the eye of the beholder...you may see something I donβt.# Comments

Thank you so much. Iβm about to post some more tonight. I havenβt even transferred half the shots.

Thank you very much. I did most of these last shots perched up on a dirt ridge. Itβs much different from what I used to shoot.

I want to get back into photography so much. This makes me more inspired.

Excellent. What do you like to shoot?

I use to have so many pictures of flowers, trees, sky and even fireworks. I later thought the firework shots were very dumb.
I deleted all of them here because I thought the camera I used took bad pictures. Anyway Flowers, trees, sky and definitely love taking pictures of Fall and Winter shots.

Thereβs no such thing as a bad picture, theyβre just jumping off points. If you would see my earlier shots youβd probably cringe.
I love winter and fall shots...too bad where I live I donβt get to do those very often.

I suppose that's true. I think of it as once it's taken it can never be like that again
meaning taking a photo of a flower and then it wilts then there is no going back.
That is my weird way of thinking about it. Huehue
I am curious to see your older photos! I will go take a look.
I know they are my favorite. The surroundings give me peace.

I donβt have much of my older work on here. If you like Iβll scan some and put them up for you.
Youβre right though itβs a moment fixed in time. Itβs not weird at all. Itβs quite interesting. Photos give us a glimpse of what was happening and the feelings of the exact moment it was taken. Itβs kind of a through the looking glass thing.

I do love them though. If you want! I would love to see more of your work!
See now that was said better than what I said. Huehue

I can do that π. Which would you like, more photography or paintings?

LucyJayy In reply to Seteche [2018-05-21 16:27:42 +0000 UTC]
Well, I am not completely sure what you prefer. It's all up to you really.
Do what you want to do. Whatever you have I am sure it will be creative or a good shot.

No worries then. Iβll pull out some of my old shots and you can see what you think. Most of them have never seen the light of day π

You are welcome. Itβs no worries, most of it came from an old superstition that you carry the old ghosts with you when you photograph their graves. Kind of like the gravedancers lament

I will admit if you get just the right shot, you can almost hear their echo in it. As crazy as that sounds.

Capturing shots like in a cemetery or an abandoned places I agree.

I am not just agreeing with you but I also believe. I say I am different from most people
because I see death so differently.

Death is just a door so to speak. I learned that all too well while I wandered the French Quarter and Lafayette.

Yep! How much you describe things as dark and I watched a video where he talks
to this guy about his creations and he leads him into this abandoned house where he gets of of his inspirations.

I did try ink when I was a Jr in High school. I was so bad at it.

No I meant ink as in tattoos. π. Yes I know itβs a bit of a cliche of artists with tattoos, lol. Iβll put up a few of them.

Ohh!
I am going to get a tattoo soon myself. I do love them. Specially if one is a tattoo artist.
You are one? D:

What do you want to get? Iβm very curious. Every ink I have means a great deal to me. Iβm not a tattoo artist per say but I have designed my share of them. I could work on one with you if you like. π

I think I will get a very small Third Street Saint tattoo on my arm somewhere.
I think that is cool that you also do that. That would be awesome! Hehe

If you donβt mind me asking, what is a third st saint? Sounds interesting. I would love to work on one with you. Iβm looking to put the tree of the lovers between my shoulder blades.

It's one of my favorite video games. It's sort of like Grand Theft Auto. It use to be anyway.
I love the story in the game and the characters. They are my all time favorite video game gang or favorite game.
However anyone sees it.
So having a purple Fleur-de-lis just reminds me of something that I really love.
I bet that would look beautiful!

The fleur de Lis. Very nice choice. That symbol also has an interesting history to it. Didnβt know it was I. Grand theft auto. I play a lot of Fallour myself π

It certainly does! I do love the design and it isn't exactly like Grand Theft Auto.
I mean it looks like it at first but it got different through the years.
