I wish I could get together a costume, but none of my suits and ties or pinstriped pants are the proper colors (and frankly, I'm more of a medic person, which is one of the most intricate outfits to put together from what I can see). Not to mention I have guardians who are very unlikely to ever let me go to cons. >:C
It's nice to see a Scoutmama cosplayer. I wasn't aware that people did, until seeing your pictures (And the Spy Romance video on youtube, of course). She really needs more of a fanbase.

Yeah, getting a suit in the right color is really the biggest task. We had to hunt for a red suit, but we really got lucky in the end! Medic is a very difficult costume to do, though, especially if you don't sew. I'll be doing a female medic adaptation next (probably not for a con, but to make just because) and even in the preliminary planning stages I'm realizing that it's a pretty advanced costume. I give major props to people who can do proper medics!
What's the Spy Romance video? And I completely agree - Scout's Mom is pretty much one of the most swingin' characters in all of TF2~!

Well, if you ever decide that you do want to cosplay a medic (or even one of your own characters!) and you need a certain piece to complete the costume, let me know! I do commissions on the side and ADORE making costumes from series that I just so happen to love!

I'll definitely look you up if I need help with it (Which I will, knowing me). And as most of my OCs wear the standard class uniforms, it'd work out either way. I don't understand the whole trend of making an OC Spy, for example, and giving them a pink suit and a masquerade mask. Not only is it sort of ridiculous looking but the mask would do absolutely nothing in the way of protecting identity. /nitpick.

The Spy Romance video is a video on youtube in which somebody took Lady GaGa's Bad Romance and parodied it to be about the Spy/Scout's Mom relationship. The lyrics aren't the most imaginative, but it's still pretty decent. I personally like Babymen better (parody of Pokerface).
And yes, I don't sew very well, so I'd have to rely on finding pieces, which makes the Medic pretty much an impossibility. There's no way I'm going to just stumble across a coat like that, even with my excessive combing of Good Will and like stores (I mean, really, who could throw out such an awesome coat?). Besides, if I cosplayed, I'd probably want to be a fail and cosplay one of my own OCs, which would further complicate it and pretty much limit me to one of my spies.
