Hmm, from what I've played, I would definitely recommend Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and maybe Fire Emblem Awakening and Fire Emblem Birthright / Conquest.  c:

I'm not sure what kind of genre you like, but if the one's above don't interest you, you can't go wrong with a simple Mario game lol. xD

i thought about picking on OoT 3d since my 2DS is of that style. i heard many a good thing about Ocarina even from its N64 days; never played a zelda before so it should be a fantastic intro ^^

Hmm, going back to Zelda, if you do end up enjoying Ocarina of Time, then maybe check out Majora's Mask. It's a direct squeal in the Child Timeline of the games. c:

Other than that, idk what to recommend.

Oh, I do hear Final Fantasy is good. I haven't played them myself, but there might be a few available for 3ds/2ds. Idk.

ill check out FF if its on 3ds; my first intro was FF7 and a friend brought it to me when he cleaned out a vacated house; so it was a gift of the gods.

and most definately ill pick up OoT and ill definately look into Majora's Mask.

in the meantime im waiting for a game i ordered for my xbox
