Well I'm not the one making the game, I'm just a excitable fan doing fanart because the game is such a amazing idea.
You can find information about the game here; [link]

Depends on your play style. this site offer a lot of help tactic wise, but rule 1) DO NOT GET INTO ASSAULT. EVER. If you are assaulted, pray your men fail their saves and die quickly so you can shoot the bastards.

here's what i've noticed during my experience (inc block of text)
The Tau's strongest trait is the weaponry or if you have quite a few crisis suits, the shoot and hide ability. With their Firewariors being equipped with str 5 weapons and 30inch range (Pulse Rifles) you should rarely move any troop units. Using Kroot as a screen has always proved effective for me, and they can chew through the enemy quite well too. Vespid are... interesting. They are not really worth their points but if you REALLY want them in your army they can make it look more spiffy. Ethereals are not worth it unless you take their full 12 honor guard. Devil Fish are fun for early troop deployment and harassment. And you should always have Railguns in the army. Whether they are mounted on Hammer Head Gunships or Broadsides. But be sure to keep your army flexible for different encounters.
I hope the site helps you, there are more of them out there, just google Tau Tactics. Really it's a learn as you play, and hopefully you have friends that are willing to help you along if you are getting into the table top game. A warning though, it is expensive, and with any army up to 1500pt expect to pay about $450-$500, unless you are subbing in units with quarters hehe.

hey thanks for the helpful tips. i'm getting a tau battlefoce. so i wounn't have hammerhead and only one battlesuit.-___- but gonna get a team of them with commander farsight as HQ. i'm hoping he can tank and kick some ass in close combat.
thats a nice site. i'll check it out later. i went to this other site call Tau advance tatica. is pretty nice too.
i dont plan on taking ethereals, kroots, vespers... but i'm pretty intersted in steath teams. how do u play them? are they good?
