Hi Brooke, I see figures in mushrooms which seem almost spirtual and they can be so divers in color and form.

Recently I learned that that part we call the mushroom is only a minute part of the fungus, we could say the sexual organs

There are so many mysteries concerning the rest of the fungus. There seems to even be a sort of intelligence when you observe the developement.

For example plants can communicate the onset of an attack from aphids by making use of an underground network of fungi, researchers have found.

Instances of plant communication through the air have been documented, in which chemicals emitted by a damaged plant can be picked up by a neighbour.
But below ground, most land plants are connected by fungi called mycorrhizae.

Sorry for the late reply. Lost internet for awhile. That actually sounds really cool. I've heard about plants communicating with each other through some sort of chemical, but I didn't know that about mycorrhizae.

Distracted. I started talking to a friend I haven't talked to in awhile, became mildly obsessed with a video game, and have started another book, even though I still haven't finished any of the other five I'm currently on. What about you?
