You're very welcome If I remember correctly, I actually searched the phrase "get over yourself", and your piece popped up. There were a lot of lines that I connected with personally -- particularly the last verse I'm very fond of, along with the chorus. It's a great read.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! =] A friend of mine helped me to understand the final point of an identity in each being, and its purpose. It felt nice knowing. Just simply knowing, not even anything in particular. The feeling of your mind opening up truly felt amazing!

You're very welcome. It's a wonderful image and a beautiful & heartfelt sentiment that I can relate to on a very personal level. I lost my "mystical" white horse back in March. I'd only had him about 7 years, but he was truly my soulmate in horse form. He saved me in more ways, more times than I can even count, and each day without him now continues to be a struggle.

I should really say thank you. Your photo brought me such comfort, in a visual and even somewhat spiritual form. I've thought about doing a manip of my guy for a while with a similar concept, though I fear it wouldn't do him the justice he deserves. But your work is beautiful. A lovely tribute that I am extremely grateful to have found.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad that it brought you comfort. It takes a long long time and you will never get over him, nor should you. My mom said something very very wise to me. she said that you should never look at getting another horse that you think you will like as much as your man, a replacement... but more feel when it is as though he is there with you and with them. She said that every horse that she has helped has felt like they were never competing with the memory of Kimraff, but grazing with him in a huge field and a part of his herd or a part of him. It is very hard for me to explain so I hope that you know what I mean. I can also add that I am still unable to watch the lord of the rings without becoming a complete mess. The white horse performs 7 flying lead changes when it is being chased by the 9. By the third I am so teary that I miss the rest. You are right, every day is a little hard. That's why my horse pieces are just a couple here and there.
