# About me

Yours truly is a graduate student, with an advanced degree in TESOL and current ongoing studies in anthropology. Although I'm a Missouri native, I've had the opportunity to live and work abroad as well.

I'm an avid reader, with tastes ranging from higher education headlines to fan fiction. I enjoy picking out new plants for my mum's garden, and tending to the houseplants I have at home and at the office. Lastly, I'm fond of a good cup of tea or coffee, constantly sampling different varieties at home or visiting my favorite coffee house after work.

On DA, I don't fancy myself an artist. However, I love to browse and comment when I come across something eye-catching. It's a great way to unwind, akin to strolling through a brick and mortar art gallery!

To you as well, Black! I traveled back home to celebrate the holiday with my mother, brothers, and sisters. It was a good trip, and definitely brought to the forefront those "reasons to be thankful" that often get discussed this time of year. :) (Smile)

I've been a member of FFN since 2007, and all that time my personal profile has been totally blank. Invisible As I had recently tinkered with my DA profile, I figured it was (finally) time to do something on FFN.

Maybe one day I'll unify everything under a single name, but I figure the avatar is a good start. Ninja Plot!

And yeah, you're right about some of the recent changes. They've added some social networking logins and sharing as well as those cover images you mentioned, which are pretty cool.

It's like browsing the aisles at Barnes and Noble, lol.
