Thank you so much. I recently saw that your critters appear to be rescues or mostly rescues as well via your journal, that's really wonderful. We need more advocates for rescue, especially smaller and less popular pets like rats and other rodents, reptiles/amphibians, birds, guinea pigs, fish, they just don't get the same level of care and advocacy generally as cats and dogs.

Couldn't agree more! And I think part of it is also just to help educate people on these adorable little critters. Though many people are just uncaring jerks, there are SOME, who are un/mis-informed (usually by petstore employees), and they're like... OMG, thank you so much for telling me this! And then they're wonderful doting animal-parents ^_^

Yeah, it's always great when people are receptive. There's a lot of misinformation about some animals out there, and some animals like guinea pigs, there are just absolutely no good books out there with all accurate information. It's when people are willfully ignorant that drives me up a wall.
